Moot

It is merely one voice

A faint echo within the multitude

Distinguished only by its resigned silence

Strength of desire fading away

Like a snow flake destined to disappear

Its singular beauty lost within the many

Uniqueness melts into a white blanket of obscurity

Followed by the endless parade of individual sameness

Each different yet at a distance … conglomerate

Clustered into anonymity

The flight of one becomes moot

We are having our first laying snowfall this morning in Springfield,Ohio. December 1,2010 what a way to enter this month. It is absolutely beautiful and finds me in good spirits. I have enjoyed reading your poetry this morning Gary. Looking forward to reading more. Have a wonderful day. Love, Carol
