Moonlit Sighs

lovers silhouette
dancing in the moonlit night
sighs caught on the breeze

*'inspired by Wilma's fine Senryu 'Silhouette'*

This is beautiful, James. I haven't had time to read much poetry lately. I plan to block out a good part of tomorrow to catch up. But this is a beautiful senyru. It reads like music, soft music playing in the night, that you can barely hear. Thanks for the kind words you have written about my work. I appreciate you and your friendship immensely. Love, Deb

Very descriptive and expressive work..Enjoyed reading this afternoon..I have never seen an eagle in fly except in pictures or tv and in my head..It would be great to go somewhere that I could see them..We do have Southern Bald Eagle but I still have not seen them...Your presence brought a ray not a stingray but a ray of sun to my cold, cloudy, and rainy Georgia afternoon..Sara

This is magical imagery, James! I haven't read Wilma's poem yet, but I bet it's just as beautiful as this is. Thanks for the congratulations on "Dark Rain", but it did not place! lol...I believe I already knew it wouldn't place.. lol Have a good day tomorrow, James... Always, Annalise

James. You consistently do good work. I like your style, direct, impact, unadorned and grounded. Unique! Best wishes from Gerard.
