Moonlit Diamonds
Moonlit diamonds light up the sky,
Giving me pause, as I think no thoughts.
Letting me rest,
My dendrites close their eyes and lie down,
Happily resting into the loveliness of the night.
Time for thinking is over.
No cares, no worries,
As the stars take over the earth,
The soothing of the planet begins.
A nightly ritual, worth its weight in diamonds.
I stare at the sky, at peace, knowing
All is being taken care of.
I am in charge of nothing.
Not even me.
I can be called back
At any time.
It is a peaceful feeling.
I take a deep breath,
Feeling loved and happy.
Diamond night,
Thank you.
