Moonlight

silvery streams of light
touch my cheek

silent, mysterious moon
inky blackness
pale jewel in starry setting

sister to the sun
glorious orb of the night
travelling across heavens

shadows dance with soft light
silver in its finest form
nature's gift to the night

moon, mysterious moon
captivating my heart
with your placid beauty

silver streams touch my senses
bathed in soft silver,
closed eyes ifeel its transluscence
the calm of night will end soon

moon mysterious,beautiful moon
