Moonlight

Light behind a sheet - Moonlight
A prowler in the clouds, werewolves on the ground
Wolf people anxious and agitated
Lunacy unleashed –
They lope through the streets
Exhilarated, free –
Decent people hurry home, concealing sober fear
They scan the pavement, scan the sky - tap their cell phones
Pretend to be distracted with important things
The mindless night – the peaceful sky

Interesting outlook on the moonlight, spooky, the inner disturbance well described, David!
