Moonbeams
The moonbeams crossed the horizon
Carrying the sun in its wake
Soft light 'pon the grass like diamonds
The moonbeams crossed the horizon
Caressing each scrutiny wizened
Opaque hopes and moods forsake
The moonbeams crossed the horizon
Carrying the sun in its wake
