Moon Tattoo

This moon belongs to me
no country can claim it
free from all the politics, conspiracies
and all the myths that surround it
it will never fade nor be eclipsed
nor it will set at dawn
or it will be dimmed by the sunlight
the yang forever etched on to me
as an arm band tattoo to symbolise my mourning
that I can see every night and morning
when I fold my arms it touches my heart.
The destroyer of darkness he was named,
this moon is my brother
forever he is now in my company and
this time will fade with me on my pyre the day I die.
