Moon Struck

I reached right up and before your very eyes, I touched the ghostly moon

I stopped it spinning for the shortest moment of time, and we both saw it start to wane

With wonder in your eyes, and disbelief as you dropped your ice-cream spoon

And the words that still make my heart smile...”Do it again, Daddy, do it again!”
