Moon Song

Her Royal Majesty
Regal and proud
Rises on
Her mist-white cloud

Waxes full
Then wanes till not
She may be gone
But never forgot

She gazes upon
The shrouded land
And gives them light
From Her fair hand

Dawn draws near
Her incandesence ebbs
While dew glistens on
Silver spider webs

Pass beyond the farthest hill
Wait, unseen, until the night
When She can resume batt'ling
Sky Throne's eternal fight
