Moon Prince
I wake up with tired and bleary eyes
I watch the starry night
As the stars sparkle in the dark night
Nothing can save me from the light
I live in your shadow
I found love that leaves me scarred
I cry till my eyes are red
I have to bow to those of lower power
I have to be elegant
I have to act appropriately
And wear the crown proudly
As I dance underneath the moonlight
This is the life I lead
I don’t know why I was born
That forbidden love that gave birth to me
Gave life to my reign
That kind facade that I carry around
Everyday I hide
Everyday it becomes harder
I feel lost in my own thoughts
Fake rumours spread like wildfire
Those red eyes that make me who I am
There’s nothing I can do for it to stop
This is life of a demon like me
God has promised me justice
I have offered my soul in vain
The consequences of my actions have been ballistic
I carry this grief upon me
That bloody knife of truth that I carry around
I don’t think I’ll ever escape my punishment
The moonlight dances upon me
And fallen down like the sun
Memories come back to me and kill me horribly
May God have mercy on me
I pray, I pray till my knees give out
Till the moon shines bright
The flowers shall bloom
My reign never ends
A flower that has withered away
I can’t live this life anymore
It’s such a pretty game
That I am forced to play
