Moon Lit Dream
I lay on my bed, and close my eyes, as you come to me in my dreams
You approach, as if on a cloud, and kiss me like a gentle lover
My lips part, and I moan as you whisper of the pleasures you want to give me
The passion in my voice telling you of the love I have for you
Our bodies moving to the harmony of the night as lovers do
We are embraced, and our hearts belie the excitement of the moment
One last, penetrating kiss to seal our destinies
Your arms cradling my head, as we dream the sleep, lovers dream
We ascend to the very heights of the midnight sky, on the clouds of enjoined souls
We know that we have been here before, and that we shall always return
While we dream, we are wrapped in our loves embrace, the whole night long
Then, when the suns rays announce the dawn, my lover of the night has vanished
I smile with confidence, knowing she will return this very night in my dreams again
While I sleep in my room, under the moon lit sky
