Moon Lady
I’m gazing at the moon in hopes to see you again
if you remember we had met last night’s eve
tonight I looked but I do not find you here
It’s not my imagination I believe
perhaps you’re on the other side
I have no idea why that would be
you told me I was your soul mate
did you decide this cannot be?
the sun will be up in just awhile
you’ll be fading away for now
but can you say I’m still yours
letting me feel your love somehow?
