Moon Diamonds

O' holy and enchanted garden,
I have seen the curling ivy
scaling your wide walls,
their tender tendrils
twisting toward the tepid moon.

Through the brick and
greenery deep, moonlight
momentarily mingled and
slow danced with shadows
out on the silver dance floor.

As she twirled,
her hair gave animation to the wind,
flowing just like yonder river
that glistens with darting moon diamonds.
