Moon Defers To Sun

Moon defers to sun, stars fade into oblivion Diamond dew glistens in the perky green grass Sense spirit blessing the yard, completing bliss Coffee on the veranda, a bit of a chocolate chip cookie Life is twinkling, waking up, sharing a chilly morning March is on the march, no pun intended. Faerie titters heard faintly amid the daffodils. A cardinal swoops down to get a cookie crumb. Written 3-23-2019 Contest: Late March 2019 Sponsor: Brian Strand

Thank you M.L. We have cardinals that swoop onto the porch to get a chunk of cat food. Some do not get to swoop back out.
