Moon Again

Moon again tonight we meet in lonely quietness And we stare into each other silently Saying the same consistency and faithfulness That keep us loving and yet apart No one will truly understand our love. Your cold Stone ravishing beauty, your immobile Willingness to let my fancy explore your body And you still taut despite my caress. This is such A primal devotion of unsplashing passion. For all the years of our meeting in desire We edge the carnal unknown but restrained less The convulsive flesh expires and extinquish Our feelings for each other. Does it offend you That I speak so plainly to your face fixated? Have I ignored some essential purpose for us, Since in every part of the world I go you remain The one constant I cannot escape? I have seen You even some daytime stalking me like a star And I have ran, but never so far as you are. Moon again tonight I would collapse in your arms And leave the loneliness of the years to drain Away in every drop of tears. O, but, these eyes Are ever dry, they never tell upon my heart. I Keep alone the secrets for which they substitute Lies to share. What if they knew the truth That you are only callous rock inside? How would I Look to love a flowery reflection of just light? Moon again, just do not leave waiting alone tonight.
