Moody Winter
It was a dull moody day
the sun refused to peek
as the clouds ran by
hoar frost clung
to barren branches
decorating trees in white
temperature began to rise
the frost began to disperse
free falling rain drops
icy patches began to form
creating slippery sections
beckoning a mishap
anyone who walked
had to be aware
of the ice covered ground.
