Moody Winter

It was a dull moody day the sun refused to peek as the clouds ran by hoar frost clung to barren branches decorating trees in white temperature began to rise the frost began to disperse free falling rain drops icy patches began to form creating slippery sections beckoning a mishap anyone who walked had to be aware of the ice covered ground.

Your poem back in November was a precursor to a deadly winter! Even then, it was showing a too frosty face. WEll, I don't have time to keep going back. I just can't believe how long it's been since I left off with your poetry.

Oh that's the way it is here right now. It freezes then it melts and freezes again. It's been that kind of year. Well described Phyl. God Bless, JB

Hello Phyllis … hopefully, our weather is about to change to something like summer. A few days ago, snow was falling in the mountains. Your poem paints a picture of the looming chill you face - thank you Phyllis - Lindsay

You have described it well. And yes, be careful on the icy ground. I had a bad fall on the ice once. Well done :)
