Moody Skies
Moody Skies.
.
How I love dark foreboding moody skies
Thwart with tension as anger fumes
And flapping ominous raucous crows
Caught by a rebellious gust precariously fly by
.
Thor hast not wielded his hammer yet
But the tension builds
The drama unfolding looks set
That clouds will burst and it will be wet
.
The shrouding consuming dimming light
Paints everything a darker pallor
In subdued hues of grey as surrendering to night
The air slowly begins to chill
Carried by the bellowing breathe
And gradually begins to bite
.
Better hopes for the morrow
Of vibrant unblemished skies
With a promise of sun smiling down
Void of clouds to cry.
