Montserrat

The tourists have departed
The sun is almost down
Gregorian chants are flowing
It’s peaceful all around
On Montserrat.

this actually reads kind of like a rhyme. A cute little poem that I finally found after clicking and clicking to find a new one!! I think I have read all your poetry, Paul! Let me know if I have missed any of your personal favorites.

I admire your perseverance, Andrea:) Thank you for the effort! This is just a little poem, expressing thankfulness for mass departure of people and at last being able to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere as dusk sets in. // paul

Hi Arthur! I think this place deserves at least a once in a lifetime visit. There are also cable cars for those who want a different take of the mountain. If you're daring you could walk up all the way!! I did that once! // paul

I hope you write more, I am currently reading a book called Chasing Francis. This sounds like it would very much fit in with what I am reading about.

Where is Montserrat? You peaked my interest yet somehow I feel more can be expressed here. I would love for you to be more emotionally invested in this piece. Free verse is supposed to set the mind free to rabble on exquisite pathways. I would like for you to step into the chants and help me feel the sun upon my face. I would like the peacful setting to inffuse my spirit.

I totally agree with your comments. Montserrat is a mountain in Spain. I visited it about 4 times. On top there is a monastery alongside a church which houses the Black Madonna.
