Month In, Month Out

month in, month out,
dance of the seasons,
moving through in nothingness

comfortable sameness,
cold waiting for warm,
warm sliding into hot,

hot changing into comfortable,
comfortable changing back into cold.
month in month out,

each year the same
each season similar,

the players a bit older,
thinner, or thicker, waiting for
something different to happen

annoyed by things
that are too different,
unexcited, apathetic,

waiting for someone else
or something else, or somewhere else
to change your life for you.

banal sameness, bored doing what
you are doing, yet not lifting yourself
out of your lazy-Girl

arguing the same old tired arguments.
staring at the same movies,
month in month out

Such is life...you've penned the process well. Every now and then I try something new to liven up life.

I have to FORCE myself to learn something new, because there is a real lazy side that wants to sit in a chair devouring a giant bag of potato chips, drinking a thirty-eight ounce cup of chocolate milk, watching 16 shows in a row.

I do and I don't. Moment to moment, mood changes fast.

It does get kind of boring, but it is a treat when it does change. I do get upset at my self when I do do the same thing over and over.

I think of the movie GroundHog Day and I laugh, as sometimes I get stuck.

I was lying in my Lazy-Girl thinking about how LAZY I am when my muse picked up a pen and bopped me on the head and took off with this one.
