Monsters and Music
Listening to music doesn’t help as much as it used to.
For a while, the rhythm would drown out the constant clanging and pounding.
But eventually, the discordant sounds become more noticeable.
And eventually more memorable.
So that I can’t tell what is music and what is simply a monster.
So that I can repeat my song, and they can howl along!
