Monster

I don't know why you
Call me sweet.
I'm just a monster
In a costume,
It's my other side you should meet.

You can't see my horns,
Because they are hidden.
I can't show them,
Or you'd call me a devil child.
I have to carry that burden.

I don't know why you
Even care about me.
I'm just freak,
An outcast,
Don't you see?

Of course you can't,
You're just a fool.
You can't see the real me
Through the paradise you hide in.
Just a little ghoul.

Call me evil, call me weird,
I don't care.
It's all true,
So back off and stay away.
Come back if you dare.
