Monster

Never really fit in always seemed to be the brunt of the joke
After years of abuse one day he just broke
As his inner light begins to fade away
Taking its place is darkness and its here to stay
Darkness consumes more of the person he used to be
Almost unrecognizable the monster now breaks free
As the voices of his abusers repeat in his mind
Now on a mission of revenge each one he will find
Hiding in the shadows a predator hunts his prey
Taking them down one at a time he’ll make them all pay
Sneaking up behind them without making a sound
Before the night was over they’ll all be in the ground
Finally his murderous revenge is complete
Now it’s the monster inside he has to defeat
