Monster

Mommy make the monster go away
hes hiding under my bed and stays.
He makes scary noises as I try to sleep
Under my bed as I try not to peek.
I lay there praying he will go away
but he grumbles as it may.
Mommy make the monster go away..

Mommy I'm scared why does he stay
when I want him to go away
I pull the cover to my cheeks
as the tears falls and leaks,
As the monster rattles the sheets.
I scream out loud for mommy to come
then the monster under my bed
cry's as I hum..

Mommy the monster is scared to... you see
He wanted a friend but was to scared of me.
As we both face the scary thought of things not seen
we came together and was free as could be..
Mommy the monster and me are friends
and I love him and he loves me..
