Monsoon Lullaby

Another sleepless night,
Lonely.
Not alone,
But, if only,
Love requited,
Respect,
Despair.
I know better than this.
Tiny drops of bitter tears,
Sour grapes bloated on fears,
Silver moon, juniper breeze,
Tick, tock, tick.
Iridescent sands of time,
Fall.
Hourglass.
Hours crawl.
Seconds fly,
On broken wings.
Agony.
Ache.
Lightning in a lavender field,
Desperate love, refuse to yield.
Pitter-patter of tiny toes,
Heaven weeps above.
Drowning in your thirst,
Tease.
Begging.
Praying, please.
Grains of glitter,
Dance.
Jump.
Death upon descent.
Flutter shut, worn and weary,
Lashes, window, wet and teary.
A distant grumbling cry
whispers.
Monsoon lullaby.

I absolutely love a strong rain/downpour. The feelings behind this in that rainy environment, have be speechless. Wonderful job!
