Monologue Of Micheal

MY NAME IS MICHEAL

MICHEAL (when was the last time I heard my mom call my name)

LIEUTENANT OF THE LINE

THE LINE OF BATTLE (line of a fight that’s useless)

BATTLE FOR PROTECTING AND PEACE (Peace that involves bloodshed of innocent lives)

PROTECTION AND DEFENSE

DEFENSE OF WAR (War is useless it’s breaking my mind)

THE WAR HAS BEGUN AND ITS ONLY A MATTER OF TIME (time it’s but a fleeting moment on this battle field)

IM RUNNING (Running from myself why did I choose this path… my life was fine)

RUNNING THROUGH DIRT AND DEBRIS (The dirt stained by the blood of my brothers, the debris.. covering these young men’s corpse)

DEBRIS!

MOVE THE DEBRIS!

CHECK FOR SURVIVORS! (how many more survivors would we have had if we had just tried to talk it out)

SURVIVORS! I FOUND SURVIVORS WE NEED TO REUNITE THEM!

REUNITE THEM WITH THEIR FAMILY. (my family….How much longer must I stay away from them, I don’t want to be delivered to them in a body bag..I don’t want my mother to cry and have to see her son a corpse with its tag not shining, not swaying as I go to hug her)

GO GO GO!

LEFT,LEFT,LEFT RIGHT LEFT. (I should have left the moment my contract was up I wouldn’t have had to be here I could have been home, celebrating eating with my family, being there for my kids birthdays instead of missing so many days of their lives)

LEFT (I left after the war ended,I’ve done enough i get to go home even if I am missing an arm,at least I’m alive)
