Battle of the Sexes:
Over the best of three sets tennis history was made!

Fall for oceanic allure, not cocaine.

Affection:
By the bubbling brook bees bond with buttercups.

Disillusion: 
My dreams are like soap bubbles – they keep popping.

Spoilsport:
He quashed all their ideas, but finally spared a thought!

The former for it's cutesy image and alliteration, the latter for it's humor at your own misfortune. I've read some of the entries to this contest, a little bit ago, but I never understood the "battle of the sexes" lines ... might have to explain! Lol... Mine deals with a challenge between a male and female tennis players, won by the female...thus it made history (poetically it has little value!). // paul
