Money's On Me
Everyone doubted me, but that's funny to me
I'd have to die for me to not make it through
My journey would be a maze to you
That's why all of my money's on me
Place your money on me and win double
I may have slipped a few times, but you've never seen my pen fumble
I was born in a storm and left out in the cold
But i always find a way to happiness anytime I'm in trouble
Sometimes love only goes one way
I learned that when my parents didn't wipe my tears at a young age
Took into foster care because alcohol was more important to them than feeding me
People try to bring me down, but they don't stand a chance of reaching me
I'm not saying I'm more important, but once you no longer care what people think, you can't be touched
Take my time because you're more likely to slip up if you rush
I realised one thing when i talked about the mistakes i made
Sometimes we get lost in it, but other times we create the maze
I used to threaten suicide, but no one expected me to try it
When i took those pills a few years ago, i had a lot of pain to die with
I realized i had a reason to be here when I Survived it
It just wasn't my time to meet the angels I wanted to fly with
I got up out of the hospital bed and walked out of the hospital door
Some realize it straight away, but for others it takes a bit longer
At least now i know what we face Obstacles for
To help us grow and make us stronger
My scars are a sign if strength not weakness
I'm like Floyd Mayweather in the ring, I can't be defeated
Everyone who doubted me is a dummy to me
I’ve overcame everything and I'm still going, that's why my money's on me
