Money Preacher

Money Preacher

Money Preacher

There is a certain amount of blindness a man like me should possess
inside his thinking crevices when confronting elders and their goons the
preacher was waxing eloquent too soon he shouted in a louder voice he said :
and eye quote this from my memory ewe “ give unto me no small denominations
no dollars fives or tens twenties you may keep its money we are after in the plate”
Hundred dollar bills and many of them is what eye want to see” and then he tried
to justify himself to me this preacher smiled and said “ my son is sick and we are
staying at the MOTEL and we mean to be here preaching for many days so give
the money to me and make us wealthy now for preaching is my business and
living anyhow. Eye opened up my bible and the words came spilling forth from
lips that smoked and drank and cussed. JESUS is the lord and eye had just
barley gotten started when the curtain fell on this actor and they began to handle
me they used the only thing they had to hand and hand to hand it was they beat
me in my belly and made me fall to ground. The only thing eye was certain of
was needing help there was none then eye managed to drag my carcass up and
out of the dirt beside the grand tent of a preacher sadly lacking in the etiquette of
morals so what if eye was wrong was it right for them to hit me eye suppose was
GOD like this so happy at the fists? My Jesus fills my bowels with love eye knoe
he did not command them men to smite me no matter what eye said that day.
The works of GOD do not include the fisticuffs of goons so many times we pray
and fall to earth and under foot of men intent on works. It hurts.
A preacher with no pity a tent used for decay a place in Heaven for the poor cast
out today listen to me on the coming of the judgment day.
The poor man will be the one inside and the castaway is you.
