Monday Morning Dreams

~

The autumn dawn
it speaks to me
of Monday morning dreams

Beyond the
vast horizon draped 
in orange sherbet beams

For up there
in the northeast rim
awakes blue diamond eyes

The prettiest
of visions seen
neath these October skies

And as my own
now open to 
another coming day

I know my thoughts
will revel in 
their beautiful display
