Mona Lisa

This frown is a painted
Masterpiece they gave me
They show it off
They brag
They compete to see who
Can get it bigger
They pay to see
Me frown
They strive for
Raindrops from my clouded eyes
Its a new day
And they won't win this time
Oh the surprise they will feel
When they find me
With dry eyes
And a smile painted
Upon my pale face
And blue lips.
