Mom's Pain

She's trying to hide her pain
little did she know behind that fake smile
I notice each and every suffering

The headache and tears I have
are nothing compared to her despondency
she wanted to cry out of not knowing what to do
oh my god this pain is overwhelming me

This pain is crushing and breaking me
when my own pillow is full of tears
I wonder how is her pillow
it must be leaking

When my own head aches
her head must be burning
when my eyes are full of tears
her eyes must be swollen by now

I can't wait to develop power
to gain strength
to be old and matured
and grant my mom happiness
and offer her the respect and love she deserves
