Mommy You'Re Gone Now

when I as 7 and would hold mommy's hand everywhere I went, I thought nothing bad could ever happen. mommy's here, you're safe. Mommy, you're gone now and I'm not safe anymore Where are you you never told me that you were leaving and that my own brother was capable of hurting me. what am I going to do when dad comes home drunk and gets violent again? Mommy you're gone now I'm not safe anymore
