Mommy Left You To Drown

For every gnashing flashing jaw
For every child that sees no saw
For every memory that wasn’t made
For every thought that wasn’t gained
One drop
One single drop of blood
One for every child unnamed
One for every soul left maimed
There is one drop
One single drop
Of blood into the ground
Mommy left you there to drown
