Mommy a Black Man

Poet: Ken Jordan
Poem: Mommy a Black Man
Edited by: Sparkle Jordan
written: August/1990

One
 summers
day,

in
northern
California
USA -

I never
thought
I'd hear,

a three
year old
white girl
say:

Mommy!
mommy!
mommy!

Look!
a
black man -

See
 mommy!

a black man -
