Moments Dont Last
A moment that takes you by surprise
Before you even realize
One that takes your breath away
You thought youd never see that day.
Heart broken apart before
Pieces that fit together once more
A day like when an angel sings
Never felt any such thing
So scared to take a breath for it may quickly pass
Moments like this never last.
