Moments

Feel the pleasant calm
As stillness sweeps grief;
Feel the soothing balm
As silence fills brief.


Think of a thought
That inspires heart;
Think of a lot
That prompts bold start.


Act upon tact
To forge finesse;
Act to fund fact
To paint your zest.


Do what you plan
With thought and deed;
Do all you can
With soul that seeds.


Be who you are
In all you live;
Be your own star
In all you give.


Dare to be bold
When life seeks proof;
Dare to take hold
When pain flings truth.


Go then and give
Each day your best;
Go forth and live
Each moment's quest.


Time and space wait
For no man here;
Time and tide bait
The man sincere.


Live well each day,
Let happy style;
Live your own way,
Let passion smile.


Here for a while,
Be of good cheer;
Here forge a style,
Be glad and clear.


Conceive bold scope,
Believe your dream;
Achieve sure hope,
Live your grand theme.
