Moment's
Moment's
Poem
Lionel Derbyshire
Children of the dead left behind
Rue and mourn new grief
Looking forwards to nothings
The road ahead is a long why
Lost on despondent paths
Bereft raw and fearing worst
They are seated in heartbreak
The times are dolor, the moments agony
They sometimes weep
Down the sad memory lane.
Mother always treated me
Like a soldier
And I always told her
I am just a child
She said be gallant
Now I'll never
Have another mother
Nevermind
There are united moments
Which impulses trust
And desolation dies
Charming moments come
And the aware concert starts
Where rain falls
There is contact
When wind blows
There be touch
Every morning
Is locked with hugs
Their faces appear
The pith of the matter is
They left us alive
For them we never died
Mom sang the hymns
And we survey
Moments.. moments never broken
Heartbreak Her name was Diana.
" Bind us together, Lord
Bind us together
With cords that cannot be broken "
Those moments....
Those come and go
Melting moments
In touching times
Even though
Prince's we were.
