Momentarily Struck

Was it the tears you drove?
To my heart midst this storm
the sudden urgency rushed
me and my heartbeats increased.

I ceased to recognize the surroundings.
While my thoughts whirled in extended
poundings.
Thunder barreled like a lovers lost
cry one trying to reach the other.

The storm passed and skies were blushed
with sigh rosy colors once more.
Waves of calm like on a shore rushed
gently over me.

Your presence was all around
gently touching my soul.
I was caught in a second the passion
I felt and was momentarily struck
by the awareness of you.
