Momentaril Bliss
Shoulder softer then a pillow
Arm warm draped over my shoulders
Hand resting just above my chest
Cold against my skin
Leg hot pressed against mine
I feel your pulse in your hand
I feel your voice, smooth and beautiful
Your head just above mine
With your gorgeous eyes, sparkling
Your breath soothing
I feel your chest rise
I feel your voice again
I raise my head slowly
And taken by surprise
Your lips, warm and sweet, brush mine
I feel your pulse speed a little
As I rest my head again on your shoulder
I feel your heartbeat steady
And I am overjoyed
Drifting off to sleep
With the person I love the most
I give your hand a gentle squeeze
I will never be at a better place
For with you there, everything else melts away
My momentaril bliss
