Moment of Truth

As far as tears I'm done shedding them in the flesh
I know I ain't ready for God but I'm staring into the eyes of death
step by step now is how I take my life
but if life's a gamble why do I roll them dice
there's a lot of hype in this world
but it's already condemned
I got niggas in my hood thats snitching
so I'm questioning who's my friends
but hold on a minute since I was born in sin
I'm patiently waiting for Christ to bring
my life till it's Holy beginning
now I ain't bragging bout my robberies or home invasions
but let me take a look back on my life like daylight savings
I don't know what I become just a lyrical poet
am I eager to be heard? or just speaking the living word
now lets justify the reason behind my poetry
despite all the sinning I'm doing
God is still holding me
but when it comes to pain it's best to forgive & forget
even though I'm writing this poem
as we speak I'm gettin upset
