Mom - My Best Friend!

My heart melts when I realized,
How terrible I was with you!

I screamed,
I yelled,
I battered!

But all you did was smiled,
And walked away!

I asked you money,
You never said a “No”
I asked you food,
You never said a “No”
I asked you clothes,
You never said a “No”

But yet I hurt you saying
What did you do to me?

I did not realize my mistake;
Until one day,
I saw you cry,
I saw you were hurt,
By my harsh words.

I realized how lucky I am to get you!
To get a MOM like you,
Who has been my best friend,
All along!

I will be what I you wanted me to be,
From this very moment;
Good, humble and mature,
You always wanted me to be.

You are still the best mom,
A best friend I can ever get,
All my life!

Love you mom!
