Mom Doesn'T Care

mom doesn't care
What you think
Messy hair
Dishes in sink

I sleep in her bed
And cry on her hip
She ignored what you said
Your concerned tip

She doesn't desire
A high five
Her priorities higher
Motivation and drive

Gently she brushes
Off the remarks
To the toilet she flushes
No room on the ark

I was just thinking about how we as a family of seven kids grew up in that one bathroom ark. :) Mom and Dad were saints. Love your insight into Mom.
