Mom and Dads Candy Treats

Twas the night before Halloween All costumes were chosen hang by their beds Thoughts of pumpkins and candy treats Knocking on doors waiting for something sweet Yet the ghost and goblins were getting ready to The witches and devils were creating a brew No child this night will be safe from fright For even the dead will arise this scary night Black cats and witches sailing across the moon Tombs will be opened with old bones rattling Headless horseman ridding down streets Stealing these children's candy treats All fears becoming real as the go door to door Once back home a calm will set counting their booty Then real fear sets in when mom and dad Steal the good ones that night, After they have fallen asleep
