Mom
Every time you go to sleep you look like your in heaven.
Plus your smile is stronger than a few Excedrin.
I thought no one understood me.
Turns out you know me better than I know myself.
You read me like in the great book and you're the reverend.
For you, I drop the tough girl act.
As my tears roll down your chest.
you worry about the things you can provide for me like the Story of a youth to me.
But that is the least of my concern.
I'm just proud I have someone like you.
