Mom

My mother and I were close like mother cat and her kitten
She was the most loving person, I knew those many years ago
My mother and I were close-even friends rather than trends
She was my personal tutor, and I her persistently loyal student in a home
(that could only change buildings. At any time regardless of any dimes
even at our prime times.

Whenever times were difficult, and Father was absent from the house
I always had someone to whom I could turn any time without ever
proverbially getting trapped or burned-never a feeling of permanent
helplessness during any troubling messes or lacks of answers

Always a source of comfort and moral support she was always convenient-
Father and cat were helpful too, but one was worked most days even when
the days were wet and gray and the other spoke not a word of English
but still helped me feel better- Mom was always there for me!
