Mom

Finger tips gently
caress sensitive skin
reddened with tears.

Declarations spoken
freely to assuage the
drum beats of the heart.

Lips sweeping across
the sweated brow
refreshing timid voices.

Limbs gracefully entwined
clinging with fondness
to the center of life.
