Mom
unspoken words comb their way into our minds
never knowing on's true thoughts
not even knowing one's true thoughts
not even if it were a 100 foot sign
i think of what i've accomplished
and how you were always there
you didn't have to physically be there
it was like you were in the air
letting me know what i should do next
showing how i could never let you go
cause you were always there
brushing your thoughts out
doing your work
telling how it would be okay soon
keeping me in the real
letting the rest of the world be blocked out
so, for a little loonger
i didn't have to know
what a struggle we were in
just to make it through the day
right before we go insane
let me call your name
one more time
so i can heqar it reflect
all around us in these empty walls
before i visit the impossible
let me hear you say mine
so i'll remember
what we fought for
Even if i can't remember
what you wore
Your favorite number
My deepest wish
Or if we made a difference
at least i knew your name
your features, what we did
and what we strived for
no I won't remember the score
of the games we played
but I will remember you
laughing and your eyes smiling
not remembering for a few moments
the strife and grief of life
just sitting
letting your words dance
and your body talk
I listened
as you blew away
my fears one by one
without a shout
just the warmth of your voice
on a single stop in time
promising my worries away
because it will all be okay soon
