Modesty
I'm bestowed upon you as a deeper shade of blue
One that's bright to light up your every view
Just allow me to show you my perception through the scopes lens
A purer glass made from all of our mistakes, learned from experience
Fortified strong from the sands of time
And completed with ash, embers of pine
So as the world continues to fade to gray
Know I'm on the outside, looking in on a colorful day
