Modern Psalm
Oh Lord, provide guidance to all your sons and daughters
where deleterious events disturb the still waters.
In pastures verdant green in a cool springtime breeze,
steer your children from detrimental proclivities.
They may dwell within the evil force’s penumbra.
Your almighty strength protects them from phenomena.
To those who follow, you provide comfort and solace.
Faithful and loving shall receive shelter in your palace.
Your goodwill and blessings may they receive in abundance.
My Lord God, you are the truth and truly the only way.
May we be worthy of your goodness from day to day.
