Modern Day Romance
Do you hate to erase
The texts that I send
Or rid of the card
I've written in pen
Do you hold dear to words
And sometimes read through
What you've already read
One more time or two
Do you like that the someone
Whose love is so true
Would take of their time
And spend it on you
I ask this because
I've been there too
I treasure the gifts
I've gotten from you
